Two great minds of football collided in Chantilly in France last weekend when Epsom & Ewell boss Glyn Mandeville met England head coach Roy Hodgson.

The Salts were at England's Euro 2016 base for a friendly clash with French non-League side US Chantilly - which ended in a 5-2 defeat, and two goals for striker Rob Hendry.

Chantilly is twinned with Epsom, and the game took place on Saturday next to England's training pitch.

The national side may need to call upon the Salts strikeforce after a 0-0 draw with Slovakia on Monday saw them qualify for the last 16 in second place behind Wales, and, until tonight's games, unsure of who they will face on June 27.
