Builder and Walton Casuals manager Liam Collins is in the hotseat as he lifts the lid on becoming a dad at the age of 19.

First goal: I know I don’t score many, but I have not got a clue on my first goal. Not a clue. I’m getting pretty old now, so you are talking a long time ago.

First car: White Escort van. My first job out of school was doing some brick laying and labouring for my dad, so I never actually had a car.

First trophy: I was playing for Halliford Colts and we won the Surrey Boys League. We actually went unbeaten for five or six seasons.

We’d win every summer tournament we entered as well. I remember when we lost our first match. We were all in tears.

First FA Cup final: When Wimbledon beat Liverpool in 1988. I don’t remember watching it, but I remember hearing a lot about it at the time.

Surrey Comet:

Legend: Paul Gascoigne at Euro 96

First hero: Gazza is a player that stands out in my mind. He was the first player I aspired to be like. Not that I actually got anywhere near that.

First lads’ holiday: I got loved up pretty early on, so never went on many. I do remember going to Alcudia in Majorca with Max Hustwick when I was about 17 years old. Nothing much really happened.

First date: I don’t know about my first date, but I do remember when I was 19 and being told I was going to be a dad for the first time.

I’m still with the mum. We’ve been together 13 years now.
