Adam Ant has announced a UK tour with shows taking place next autumn.

His musical career spans the course of nine albums and 22 chart-topping singles worldwide – he was also the first winner of a Brit Award.

Ant will be taking his ANTMUSIC Tour across the UK, playing shows in locations such as Bournemouth, Birmingham, Glasgow and more.

Adam Ant will be performing his classic chart-topping hits and personal favourites during the tour.

The English singer emerged as the lead singer of the new wave group Adam and the Ants, and later as a solo artist, becoming one of the most noticeable acts in the world.

He scored 10 UK top 10 hits from 1980 to 1983, including three UK number one singles: 'Stand and Deliver', 'Prince Charming' and 'Goody Two Shoes'.

It is also rumoured that he inspired Johnny Depp's portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with his signature look.
