Thousands of pounds have been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support by kind-hearted businesses across the borough.
Among them were staff from Hawkins Beauty Clinic in Coombe Lane, Raynes Park.
Owner Azra Butt led the team in raising just over £1,000 by selling tasty treats carrot cake, cake pops and donuts all day. They also held a raffle.
Miss Butt said: “We have a lot of people along every year, we are very lucky.
“Our clients are very generous.
“We have got a lot left.”
The mayor of Sutton Arthur Hookway visited Worcester Park business H&T Pawnbrokers.
The mayor visited the H&T store in Central Road in Worcester Park to make a donation and congratulate the staff for the great fundraising work they are doing.
At the company’s head office in Sutton, staff put on a sweet and savoury spread including bacon sandwiches, home-made cookies and cakes and even brought in their coffee machines from home.

Hair salon owner Joe Milazzo has a special reason for fundraising as wife Lina Milazzo is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer which was diagnosed in June this year.
The family-run business Esente Hair in Leopold Road, Wimbledon, had a stall groaning with Victoria sponge, cake pops, chocolate brownies and cupcakes on Friday, September 26.

The team estimate they have raised about £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Mrs Milazzo is having treatment at Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon.
Mr Milazzo said: “Parkside Hospital have been amazing.
“This is the first time we have done this, although we have done other charity events for Sport Relief.
“We wanted to raise as much money as possible.
“Macmillan have given us so much information and support, it’s a great charity – they do amazing work.”

People all over the UK held coffee mornings to raise money for Macmillan. Last year 154,000 people signed up across the UK, raising £20 million.
